What do you do? I only have one wax heater at the moment and have almost come to the end of my pot of wax so I'm having to tip th heater to get enough on my spatula. It'll be enough for eyebrows but not if someone wants legs etc. doing. Should I leave it and crack open a new one until I get a second heater, then I can just use it then for brows and the like until it's all gone? I'm using Hive creme tea tree but don't have another of. The same flavour, only have lemon zest or original creme.

Any help appreciated

Just put it to one side and stick a fresh tub in. It's quite useful to have a nearly empty tub stashed somewhere, then if your wax isn't on and someone who's having say, a pedicure, asks for a brow shape, you can quickly heat it through.

For the future it might be useful to have a few tubs of the same wax, so you can do top ups

You really need to get another wax heater. It'll make life so much easier for you. xx

I always keep my wax wells full I swap them over when they get half empty & pour the half that is left into another half empty tin & then i always have a full one if you know what i mean!

And always keep enough stock of your wax!

And as for the hard wax pellets i fill the tin to full in the morning and that lasts till lunch when i fill up again! Or if i have a good few brazilians i run a seperate heater filled with pellets too x

I know hun, I am intending on getting another one, but have to pay the remaining balance on my Acrylic Nail course in 2 weeks, so it's gonna have to wait!

This is what I am intending on doing once I'm running fully. I am intending on actually getting a double wax heater (if you think that's a good idea) as weel as the one I already have. That way I can use different waxes for different things.

I use a Beauty Tools tiny wax heater (approx £20 from Sally) for facial waxing and a large Hive pot for body waxing (I don't offer hot wax at the moment). My couch and facial chair are at opposite sides of the room mind you.

With both of these I place a pot of wax at an angle balancing on the spatula scraper bar if thats what it's called and the heat of the pot allows the wax to melt from tub into pot. I keep both of mine on at all times and even 10 mins is enough time to melt more wax into either pot if I'm running out. Half an hour of melting time is approx what it takes to melt an entire tub in.

I always stick to the same wax though, don't know about having to chop and change flavours! lol x

Now you sound like a marks and spencers ad! 'This isn't just any wax this is hot succulent wax with an aromatic scent!

To me anything that smells fruity is a flavour.....always has been lol x
