So sorry to hear of your bad experience,
did you see the therapists certificate to say she was qualified to perform this treatment, they should not hurt or be uncomfortable and they should look fab, not as you have described do you know what system she was using, and as a trainer for eye lash extensions i can tell you no eye lash extensions should be like this hth |

Hey
If you could feel all the glue along your lashes and see the lashes were stuck on i would say it was the way they were applied! it could be that the glue was maybe old and too thick but was most likley the way the therapist applied them in my opinion anyway! xxx |

she did have a cetificate, she had just learnt to do them. she trainned with hollywood lahes.
The glue was thick and attached to my eyelash it felt as tho it was pulling. i expected to come out looking like a had strip lashes on? i wanted them to look more glamour than naturel. it this look achieveable with extentions? |

the thing is to do this treatment you need plenty of practise, it sounds like you knew she had only just qualified so you should have expected them to not be perfect, even so they should not hurt you, you need to go back to her and let her know of your experience, (for both of you to benefit) ask her to professionally remove them for you and give her the chance to re apply them for you, for free of course, any look can be create with lash extensions so tell her that you want them longer and thicker to give you the glamour look rather than a natural look hth |

Hi Hun,
I have had Hollywood lashes, they were fab, I think it is down to her not being experienced. Mine were so light I didn't know they were on, no pain, no glue pull, just Fabulous Lashes, I was very careful with them and they lasted weeks. Go back and tell her, she will probably want to put them right by doing another set for free. If she is not told, she may not improve thinking all clients were happy. Lotsa luv x ![]() |

loubylou, can i ask what glue u use for your lashes only have found the hive glue to be quite strong and can make your eyes water on application. I had not done these for years (the individual ones that is) since college, and people at min seem to love em, hence i had to go out and get some. The ones i got were hive, they looked brill (second attempt lol) but like i say they made my ladies eyes water on application and took ages to put on. Plus on my first attemt i had to put one lot on , open eyes and so on other wise they would end up stuck together( don't worry i used guinney pigs

they definatley shouldnt have felt like that, im an eyelash extension trainer and know from experience it take quite a few sets to get it right i do lots of commercial work and you can get really dramatic lashes however compaired with natural looking they tend not to last as long you should still get 10 days or more out of them but as they tend to be longer and thicker dont last quite as long. any questions please feel free to ask

I think it's because of the technician who done them. I've had lash extensions many times and I never feel them - they feel the same as natural eyelashes, whenever I look in a mirror thats when I see how fab they look. I think you should discuss this with a person who made those lashes for you. xxx

i have also used adhesive from i-lash and hollywood lashes, not used the one from hive so i can not pass a comment on that one, i think you are referring to the clump lashes though if you were taught at college, i work with the single individual lashes that look just like one eyelash and can last a few month with correct after care and maintenance, hth |

I use Enticing Eye glue (The BEST Lash Supplies on the Net!) and their glue is amazing. We buy loads of this glue for our salon tech's who lash here.
The enticing eye medical grade glue is inexpensive and lasts long, and the clients have amazing results which puts our salon in a lot of business. Its a great glue to train newbies with also. Hope this helps. I've tried a million lash glues before I fell in love with just one brand. They're popular in southern California Take care, Melanie |
