Silly question! - 08-09-08, 01:35 PM

I have a spray tan and a manicure booked for a client. Which one should I do first, her tan and then her mani?

What do you ladies usually do? Can the mani affect the tan on her hands?

Thanks!

I would begin with the manicure but you don't want to be applying any moisturisers or anything else which may create a barrier to the tan taking.

Hi hun,
Maincure 1st, but don't do massage and creams on her hands and arms, they will form a barrier for the tan.
Keep all creams and lotions to a minimum. Ensure all residue is removed from the backs of her hands, palms need barrier cream, I usually apply some moisturiser to palms, and use sticky feet to protect soles of feet.
Hope it goes well.
Lotsa luv x
