T200 not spraying correctly, advice needed! - 13-09-08, 06:12 PM

I have had my T200 for about 3 months. I use tantrick. At first it sprayed very well but after a few tans it has become very temperatmental! This is driving me mad as I am a perfectionist and hate the idea of give someone a streaky tan.

After every tan I flush through cold tap water. The water comes out very smoothly so I wondered, at first, if the solution is a bit too thick for my machine as some other solutions seem less oily and spray better. But, then I realised loads of people get along just fine with T200 and tantrick so ruled that out!

I have taken the gun apart and washed following the instructions on the video tutorial. I have also tried using soapy water, followed by clean water but the machine is still not spraying correctly. I wondered if the needle could have got bent at one point but I was very careful when removing it that this is unlikely.

Too explain what I mean, it sprays one minute fine and then nothing comes out the next. I have to spray clients a second time (lightly) to make sure all the area is covered. I have had these problems before with cheaper machines so am disappointed to have the same with this machine.

Any advice would be very much appreciated, thanks.

Oh dear sorry to hear your having problems with your machine Sharon,
in order to assist you can give us a call first thing Monday and im sure we can talk you through how to best resolve the problem.

in the interim could you do a little exercise for me please.

Take a couch roll and hang it down the full length of a door
then spray up and down if you are spraying a person....is the streaks consistent or patchy...if patchy clean the gun right down to componet parts..reassemble and then with a fresh sheet of couch roll repeat the exercises with only water...is the pattern consistent??

Sorry a bit of work but a good way for us to diagnose a possible problem and make a recommendation for correction.
Thank you
