hair or lash extensions? - 24-09-08, 09:38 PM

I wonder if anyone can offer me advice.

I have been offered a small function room in my parents hotel and I want to start doing lash and hair extensions. I can't do both at the same time because I simply dont have the money to pay for both training courses at once.

In terms of eyelash extensions; I have decided to go with either A.H Francis or Lash Perfect for training. They both sound very good . I just can't make my mind up about which one to go with.

For hair extensions KM hair extension training sounds very good.

I was going to start with the eyelash training first , then when i had made enough profit, pay for the hair extension course. Do you think I am doing it the right way round?

Also- On the hair extension course they teach you how to cut and shape the hair, but I remember when I had my Racoon extensions done, a professional hairdresser cut it for me after the extensionist had fitted the hair. I obviously want to provide great hair extensions to my clients, but I don't see how i can learn to cut hair in a day? What does everyone think about this? are there any mobile extensionists out there who aren't trained hairdressers but don't find it a problem. i would greatly appreciate your advice as I am going up the wall with having to make decisions.

many thanks,

Marie
