Even though I am no longer training for Tantrick I will still use the product as I still feel its the best I have used and my clients love it. I have periodically tried other brands to see that I am not 'missing out' on new solutions that people rave about, but personally I don't feel that any of them I have tried is as good and % like for like, the clients I have tried other brands on have asked to have the Tantrick the next time.
The Autumn Gold is getting more and more popular too, my clients like this as it doesn't come off on your clothes the same as the original bronze solution. |

I am now using sienna x, 8% and 10%.
*Guide colour is dark, but not 'heavy' on the skin. It comes out brown. *Smells of coconuts! *Drying time - couple of mins. I have found that because the guide is darker than im used to, i hardly use any solution (25ml average), so it dries super quick. *Choice of solutions - there are 5 strengths, i only stock 2. i have used all of them though, on myself, i dont like the Q10 solutions, as i think they go patchy when they fade, but the original solutions i love! *Developed colour - goreous golden brown. Definatly the best colour i have experienced. *Staying power - about 11-12 days, but with good aftercare about 2 weeks. i havnt had any patchiness with the original solution. *Retail Range - sachets of scrub and cream are very popular!! good as freebies too! sachets and full sizes are good prices to buy in, and good mark up but still good enough price for a client impulse buy! I am really pleased with the entire range, i have never spray tanned myself so much!!! |

I use Couture and love it!!!
*Guide colour - This is very similar to the resulting colour which is great because the client can see immediately what their tan will look like. *Smell - Very light, pleasant scent of green tea. *Drying time - Within 2 or 3 minutes. *Choice of solutions - 2 types, Romantic Glow for fairer skin, and Romantic Bronze for medium to dark skin. *How much solution I don't the exact quantity but it doesn't use much. *Developed colour - It is a very natural colour which really does make people have that healthy sun kissed glow! No orange or streaks in sight. *Staying power - I had one client return 14 days later and her tan looked gorgeous still. Average about 7-10 days. Fades evenly depending on the client having dry skin but with the correct after care advice this isn't ever a problem. *Retail Range - Most people walk out with the tan extender. They also offer moisturiser, exfoliant and a range of other pre and post tan products. VERY reasonable prices too. *Value for money - Excellent!!!!!! I was very nervous when deciding which tan to choose because there are so many out there (great thread btw) but I am so pleased I chose Couture. Not only are their products brilliant, but their staff are all super friendly and helpful too. I and my clients love this tan! |

tantrick for me
*Guide colour - is it light or dark and what colour does it look on the skin? can be light or dark depending on which type of solution you are using ie essence of summer or autumn gold two liquids with " intelligence " in them *Smell - is it a pleasant frangrance? yep lovely especially the two i mentioned above *Drying time - How quickly can you client get dressed? immediately *Choice of solutions - Is there one for all skin types? Do you feel there are too many or not enough? there are 6 solutions now , 4 original, to take you from a freckly red head to a darker skin type and all in between and 2 water based intelligent ones ( by intelligent i mean they somehow tan how you would tan naturally in sunlight) *How much solution do you use per tan? average 40 mls *Developed colour - think about wether the tan comes out with yellow, brown or orange tones. i would say brown to red undertones *Staying power - How long does the tan last, does it go patchy when it fades?can last well up to 14 days if well maintained and if the persons skin type is fairly oily, if the client has a drier skin and maybe doesnt maintain it well then not as long, ive never seen this tan go patchy *Retail Range - does your solution carrya retail range? does this boost business? yes it does but i also believe new things are in pipeline for this *Value for money definately tantrick all the way for me |

I use Tantrick for the same reasons as Lotus Blossom.I first decided to train with it and use it because it had the best recommendation on here .I think that there are other solutions that are as good but not necessarily any that are better.
Ive also recently purchased some celebrity secrets simply because i have a lot of tans to do that i am doing for free soon and it is cheaper.I like celebrity secrets except that the guide colour is quite dark and it does come off more on clothing etc.It also doesn't have parabens or alcohol in which i have been asked about but then maybe it has some other thing in it as preservative that maybe just as undesirable. I have some clients that like celebrity secrets now and some that prefer tantrick. I don't think i have tried any that i thought were absolutely awful and i have had samples and tried Fantasy,A tan,Sienna, sudo, vani t,xen tan and St tropez. The only thing i would say im not keen on is the coconut perfume many seem to have. |

I love Tantrick
i have tried lots on the market and continue to try them all out as i like to know what is out there, also it enables me to answer trainees questions if i know what else is on the market, Guide Colour is great, just enough to make the client look healthy when leaving the salon, the essence of summer now has a darker guide colour to help the therapists that could not see it very well to begin with. Smell the smell is very pleasant, the original smells of a very light perfume (hardly noticeable but nice) the essence of summer smells of strawberries and melon, the autumn gold smells of vanilla (very similar to solar oil fragrance lovely). Drying time my clients can dress as soon as i have finished the spray. Choice of solutions lots lol, 5%, 8%, 10% 12% and then the essence of summer 8.5% and autumn gold 10.5%. How much solution used about 30 mls. Developed Colour beautiful, all my clients rave about how natural it looks, some say even better than a natural tan (which is what we want to keep their skin safe). Staying power my clients get 10 to 14 days out their tans when following all aftercare. Retail range Tantrick have a matching retail range but watch this space as Collin and Britta have plans to make them even better. Value for money you get what you pay for and this is very reasonably priced with excellent results every time. I hardly ever wore a spray tan before getting involved with Tantrick but i wear one now 90% of the time hth
