Hi i think i agree with what everyone is saying although sunbeds are extremely popular there also very dangerous and the most efficient and instant way of getting a tan is through spray tans. They do offer the stand and tan booths now for rent and lease not just to buy, there like a standing sun bed but when u step in they spray you with the tanning lotion there quite popular i think!!

Thanks, I didn't realise so many people have stopped using sunbeds, but now I have decided not to get a sunbed eventually if people do ask if I have a sunbed I may consider.
Pringle mouth, do you use spray tan? |

There are many good Spray tan solution providers out there.
Give as many as you can find a call and ask for as much information as possible on equipment as well as solution choices available, ensure that adequate accredited training will be provided and check out issues such as after sales service..what happens if there is a failure with equipment provided etc etc. Once you have identified a short list of 2 or 3 book yourself in for a spray tan with a salon nearest you so that you can trial the short listed products for yourself. Then simply sit down and reflect over your final short list and make a decision. HTH |

In the salon where I work, sunbeds are certainly NOT last year!
Its a big salon which does beauty and holistic treatments. It has 4 standup sundbeds and believe you me, we are always busy. On Saturdays there is a queue to use these beds. At £1 per minute, and now 50p per minute special offer, they are certainly popular! Sorry I dont know much about the sunbed business but I'm sure its worth having a look around for information on having one in your salon. Goodluck.X |

Thanks for all your advice. Its really helped.
Still deciding about whether or not to have a sunbed, might open the salon without one and then if clients start asking for it, i think i'll give Collins friend a ring! |

I imagine the majority of the customers are young girls.Who are at the stage of their lives when they throw caution to the wind with their health and certainly have no interest in wrinkles and ageing, they just want a tan and at 50p a minute they can certainly afford it. |

For obvious reasons, I've never used a sunbed but common sense tells me it cant good to use it on a regular basis! Sorry about hijacking your thread! ![]() |
