Hi Tasha,
I only use my hot stones for massage atm. My description goes along the lines of saying about how i combine traditional massage methods with the holistic healing properties of the warm and cold stones. I let them know that its intensly relaxing and quite frankly a heavenly experience. I charge £45 for 1hr, although I know a "posh" (but very scary) salon up the road charges £90! This is the only service I dont offer as mobile, because there is just too much stuff to cart around and you need a good 30mins for the stones to get up to the right temperature. HTH Karaxxx |

This is my description on my web site: -
A calming and revitalising full body massage using warm stones leaves the whole body simultaneously relaxed and re-energised. Hot stone therapy goes beyond the physical experience of typical massage and enters a deeper dimensions of relaxation and well-being. Crystals can be used to help balance the body's energy centres. Hope that helps. x |

I charge £45 for a 60 minute back, neck & shoulders, and £60 for 1¾ hr full body massage. On my website I describe it as follows:
"Let stress & aching muscles melt away with a hot stone massage. This unique & deeply relaxing therapy is unlike anything else, combining the power of massage with the use of hot smooth basalt stones & the fragrant power of aroma-therapeutic formulations. The gentle warmth from these stones penetrates the muscles & relaxes them, allowing for a deep & intense massage experience, whilst the placing of stones upon the body helps to create pockets of warmth, melting away muscular tension & re-balancing the body’s energies. Whether to soothe aches & pains, boost a sluggish circulation, or to induce a deep sense of calm & relaxation, this is more than just therapy, it’s a sensation!" |

By now you will have done your hot stones course - isn't it a wonderful treatment. I used hot stones for relaxation but also the hot and cold stones to help muscle tension - the heat helps to soften the muscle and the cold to reduce inflammation. How are you getting on with using them? Claire |
