I have found in my experience if you want to wax over a stretch mark, you can do it but you need to take extra care. make sure you are supporting the skin extremly well and use lots and lots of talc!! My personal opinion is when you are waxing you can never use too much talc!! especially when it comes to the bikini area. But if your client's stretch marks are really bad maybe try waxing around them and just plucking the hairs within the stretch marks with tweezers? Good luck with it all!

I have used talc on myself and yes it is better but some areas like the leg fold/line the wax still seems to take some skin.
I have heard using an oil can also help for sensitive areas, does anyone do this and will it work. I would love to help this lady out and she is waiting for my reply on wether i can and will do her waxing. Thanx |

using talc is pretty old fashioned, and i have a feeling that you are not meant to use it anymore. i cant give much more detail than that, as i could be wrong. But i am sure i read somewhere it wasnt meant to be used.

When I did my warm wax training in July, the trainer used talc. I suggested that oil was better (as seen on SG
I use baby oil, sparingly, and it works fine. Will be getting some PR jasmine oil though when I've run out. Sorry, didn't answer your q! As above, if you make sure it is stretched and supported and don't repeatedly go over the area, you should be fine. HTH's xx |
