What not to wear at a job interview - 01-11-08, 07:38 PM

Can any one give me any advice? i'm going for a beauty therapist job interview for (laser). I'm not sure whether to wear a suit or a beauty therapy tunic suit. Which one would be suitable? I'm stuck and between the two and my interview is in a few days.

Does any body know or has any body been to a Beauty theraoy interview? what did you wear?

Helpppppp

Do you know if you need to do a trade test?

If so then definitely tunic.

Why not go dressed smartly in a suit but take your uniform with you to change into?

That way you cover all eventualities. The interviewers will also get to see how much of an effort you've made (which isn't much if you go already in uniform).

Id wear a smart outfit / suit and take my tunic with me in case they want you to do a trade test.

I have been for interviews in London for Laser/ IPL jobs and have never had to do a Trade Test on the day.

I was called back at a later stage and asked to wear my uniform to perform a trade test.

Hope this helps x
