Razz Fake Bake Or St Tropez? - 12-11-08, 03:32 PM

I am a total fake tan addict ...when I run out and go pale I feel realllly self conscious! & I'm sure I'm not the only one!
I have just started using Fake Bake Xtreme lotion.
But have only applied it once as it is darker than the original so I don't need to keep applying it (Which I Prefer.)
Before this I used Fake Bake Original lotion.
I am wondering if St Tropez is any good?
I have had a few St Tropez spray tans but I don't know what the lotion is like to apply yourself?
Which one do you think is better?
I like to have a nice tan. Not orange but not pale!!
Any comments welcome....!!
Thanks in advance, B xxx

Hi Becky, I'm a mobile spray tan technician only offering Fake Bake. You've mentioned Fake Bake Original and Extreme but have you tried Fake Bake "Darker". I've got 3 clients who love the Darker solution and their results are really quite dark - a month in Antigua rather than a week in Spain, if you know what I mean. Occasionally I do a 50-50 mix of Original and Darker for a "medium" result. Not sure if that information's any good whatsoever but thought I'd write in anyway xx

Heloo, no I haven't tried darker, I didn't know it existed tbh.
Do fake bake only do this in salon-sized bottles?
I thought it went from fair-original-xtreme?
did not realise a dark one was available.
I think im going to stick to fake bake rather than St Tropez though...

Thanks..!!

Cheesy hey! - 13-11-08, 12:44 AM

hey!
i work with st tropez as i was trained in that befor i was trained in fake bake.
i find that the lotion or mousse in st tropez (if applied correclty) can have a nice outcome. however if you have it quite dark you would have to make sure you exfoliated properly so you are working on fresher skin and also you my find that you need a few applications, however with the fake bake you can use the darker colour. so personally i think its your call.

I am so pale im almost blue and am also a fake tan addict, I have used fake bake extreme, and the darker solution but they dont take very well on my skin and look patchy. I love the st tropez mousse, its easy to apply and looks really natural!
