Although I'm a bit surprised that Wow Factor have put up such a basic looking holding page, rather than keeping the existing site live while the new one is completed - or, if needing a holding page, having something a bit prettier! When I went to the Tantrick page, I just got an IIS (Internet Information Services) 404 error!

They may not be aware that that is possible,
i have no idea who is doing the work but im sure Collin would like to know that it is possible to do that,
you can PM him, no use me trying to explain that, i would do better explaining how a jet engine in a plane works

Am sure it's not Collin's doing though - probably his web designer! Am guessing that they may have wanted to take the shopping cart/e-commerce side of things down for logistical reasons while the new site gets set up - but if I were in his position, I wouldn't be happy with clients seeing the holding page that is there at the moment. I may just drop him a PM in a sec like you say

Thanks for your observations Ruth however we did only anticipate being down for a few hours while we upload our new site...we are so close now to going live it really isn't worth putting up pretty pictures now

Once again sorry guy's for any inconvenience and please be patient with our development team who are working flat out to iron out last minute gremlins so we can go live with the new site.

Thanks everybody for your concern but dont worry its all for the best - we have swapped hosting providers and completely built a new site with much more features and valuable information which should be live within the next few days (maybe even tomorrow?)

Thanks for the tip with the holding page, I personally would have preferred a much prettier holding page but I preferred to keep the programmer and designer busy with the actual site to make sure that that was going to be up as quickly as possible and ensure that the site is working without blips...thought that was more important than a pretty holding page so soon you will all be rewarded (well hopefully you will like it as it caused me more than just a few grey hairs!)

The good news is that we have managed to take over all the customer database and passwords from the previous site so all of you should be able to log into the site without any problems (there might just be the odd one where the login details where encrypted - so apologies for that, but simply create a new account and its sorted!)

A newsletter will go out to all subscribed customers once the site is live ...so watch out for it....there might even be a special offer for the launch of the site !!!

Hi Lula and everybody else who has been patient today.......we have put a bit more pressure on and its up and running and live now phew ...lots more to do but its fully functional with lots more than the old site had.....
