Hi everyone
A friend of mine had a couple of blemishes removed from her face a few years ago which turned out to be skin cancer and she is totally ok now thank goodness but in the area where the scar is she has loads of comedones. She has asked me to remove them but I have said no way.

Have I done the right thing by turning her down? She's not a very happy bunny with me but Id rather she was mad with me and ok than I possibly do something that could harm her.

Would you ladys have done the same thing?

Just tell her to ask her GP for advice.

How long ago were the blemishes removed?

I think it was a couple of years ago. She has the all clear, but it just seems that in the crease of her skin she has comedones.

Hi When you have a blemish removed and are waiting for healing to take place you are not following a normal cleansing routine and debris can build up. In the past I have had dermabrasion and 2 moles removed on my face and because of this I suffered from congestion due to dressings and inability to clean properly. If she has received the all clear from her Consultant then I would go ahead and remove them.
