Hey everyone, I thought I'd stop by the best resource for finding out info on the beauty biz with a couple of questions, with a massive hope that you guys can shed a bit of light on the problems we're having!

We're just looking at expanding new treatments for our salon, and are really keen on the microderma machines. We had crystal clear over, and were really impressed by their product and service. We then had CACI over last week, and saw their new "face up" machine .. have you had any experience of this? Apparently it won't clog etc, and uses a different method, but we were just wondering if the results were the same as the old crystal method, or better?

We are also considering the CACI Ultimate - as it has the microderma, but also the non surgical facelift built in. Looks a really good bit of kit for offering some really good treatments. So...CACI Ultimate (£9,000) vs Crystal Clear (£5,000) is the question! ? CACI also seem very good at aftersales, helping promote and organise a launch etc.

Another angle we have been looking at is getting a cheaper machine off the Beauty Guild forums? Is it worthwhile doing this? Im aware the microderma machine doesn't need a great deal of training, so we could do this ourselves and save a great deal (which would be good right now, as we're in a bit of financial trouble!). Alot of the machines are 2-3 years old...will they be any good? Well maintained? Will the technology be similar, or outdated? Anyone any experience of buying these? So many questions

We will probably be waiting until the EXCEL show in March before we make a final decision..but any experiences or advice I can gain on the way there would be priceless...love to all your forum people!
