Question about Lash Tinting -
06-05-09, 08:57 PM
Hi,
I have just tinted the brows and lashes of someone who is very fairhaired; her brows and lashes were very very pale. I was very happy with the result of the brows; and so was the client; I used brown, put on, and straight off and it looks natural but gives good defintion. She wanted black on her lashes; I put it on and left it on for the maximum time I was trained to. I thought the result was good; I noticed a difference certainly. The client though was disappointed; she obviously wanted darker. I admit they were not jet black (on darker haired clients I have used black tint and it does come out black black iykwim!) but I did not want to re-apply. Could I re-apply after say one week? And as they are darker now, would I then get a definate black? Or is this just the result I need to expect on someone who is so pale naturally? I used Hive lashtints in Black. Thanks for your help guys. x |

Thanks for that; I'll add blue/black tint to my ever-growing list of 'things I didn't buy but now I think I'll need!
BTW I think going 'mobile' is going to be 'fun'. Today this client (my first paying one!) had her dog on her lap, despite my politely worded 'wouldn't you feel more comfortable with him off you?". THEN the blinking mutt stole my tweezers off my table, and went under the bed. The client then called her son to retrieve them and the dog almost took his arm off! She then offered me her personal tweezers in lieu But I know and like this lady, cos she is abit eccentric so its cool! But I do think 'mobile' is going to be 'different'!!!! x |
