TO be honest i would have thought the heater makes much difference to a newbie. The wax you use IN it of course will but just as you brought the Salon System heater dosnt mean you have to use their wax. Others will fit in no problem.
If you got a bargain then great. I would stick with what you have. Maybe later when you are getting a ton of business and need the heater on everyday or maybe need two heaters running at the same time then i would look at something else but for now your heater will do a grand job. Good luck with the course. I loved dong mine. x |

Hi,
I use the Salon Systems wax heater every day and I like it. It's easy to regulate, easy to clean and 'does what it says on the box'. I've also got a Babyliss heater as a back-up for when I need 2 pots of wax heated simultaneously (for a BIG waxing job !) The Salon System heater is quicker to heat up from cold than the Babyliss one. I'd keep it if I were you. HTHs.
