Newsletter? - 17-06-09, 10:16 AM

Hi
I had a magazine from babtac and one article in it said about sending newsletters through email to your clients. It said to send them every week as its a better chance that the client will read it. You put hints and tips and promotions or offers into it. Does anyone else do this and what do you think? What do you include in this?
Thanks

You will need to be careful to ensure that you have your clients permission before sending them marketing emails. What you could do is include a "join mailing list" option on your web site, where visitors to your site can choose to join your email list.

If someone/some company sent me a newsletter every week I'd probably delete it without even bothering to read it. I get enough of those sort of things anyway without receiving even more.
I would think that every month is nearer the mark, or even 6 weekly. That way people don't suffer from overkill.
Remember, quality not quantity.
