I had my spray tanning training with Sienna X - and they specifically said in the training not to double tan as it can have a speckled effect when the tan starts to come off. So i've never double sprayed with it and all my clients have been perfectly happy but hey each to their own - i've never tried to double spray them as i would be cutting into my profit.

Don't know about that? I use both ranges, the 8.5%, 10%, 12%, 12.5% and now 16%..... double spray with all of them and no problems! I cant really see how it could make a difference to how you fade if you spray once or twice to be honest? maybe i'm wrong? lol

And as I keep saying, it makes no difference to my profit, I still only use the same amount (or less) as the people who spray once!

I will just keep doing what works for meeeee....

Hi,
Just a thought !
Are you using a compressor & gun OR a HVLP machine.
In my experience, the compressor & gun uses much more lotion and the client is damp for quite a few minutes.
The HVLP machine spray is more of a mist and the client is dry within seconds.
Could that be the reason ?

I'm the same, always double spray (i do a very light spray on my second go round) and only use around 25ml per full body tan....Sienna is a brand I have used quite a bit and never ever had a problem, my returning clients have never mentioned any problems and lets face it if there was a problem they they probably wouldn't come back!!!
