Having a little panic **course choice*** - 02-07-09, 01:30 PM

Hi Folks,

I wanted to change career so I could work round my kids and thought about beauty then decided I was really wanting to go into holistics.

I have been accepted to do l3 holistics in august with a view to working for myself or renting a room.BUT when I look at newspapers etc everyone is wanting beauty therapist an im now wondering if I should have done beauty and added on som holistic therapies or should I continue on holistics and add in some beauty?

if so which treatments?

Thing is ...it depends on where you want to work and who for. If you work for yourself then you pick what you want to do. If you want to go into a salon then beauty and electricals with massage is probably what you are most likely to need.
If you choose to work in a spa then they don't tend to offer electricals and concentrate more on the holistic side of things.
I would stick with it and then go and do a level 2 course in beauty therapy.
Good luck xxx

Hey

Tanning is defo the right way to go. I have never looked back since going mobile. Having lots of strings to your bow is never a bad thing. Can recommend Tanning Solutions for your kit and solution and they also provide accredited training and mobile packages. Take a look at their website.
