Confused Spray gun needle stained - 03-07-09, 08:22 PM

I finally plucked up the courage to clean my needle tonight! (was worried I might not get it back together lol) and when i removed it the bottom half near the needle tip is stained brown with solution ive scrubbed with water but its not shifting............... anyone got any ideas or is this normal?
ive got the maxi mist

you unscrew the screw that increases or decreases the solution, take it fully out, watch you dont lose the spring! then pull the trigger as if you were spraying and it releases the needle, then you tug hard or wiggle and pull at the same time the needle, its a bit tricky but it eventually came out, handle it carefully as the needle tip can get damaged easily.................... does this make sense lol

they do stain a little it won,t make any diffrence to the spraying, make sure you wash it in warm water and drying it with soft clothe before putting back in gun.
