Which Make Up? - 04-08-09, 02:11 PM

I am doing a make up course at the end of the month. I live abroad and have been asked by a wedding planner whether i can do her brides make up, therefore i am not likely to be inundated with work so i don't want to pay out a fortune on make up to start with. The company that i am doing the course with have their own range, but i'm not sure whether to get it? I use Bare Escentuals myself, and would love to use this on clients, but i understand that they require a big order. Does anyone have any suggestions on brands or where i could maybe buy Bare Escentuals at a lower price than retail?

Do you think people would rather see you use a good quality named brand that they recognise as apposed to a cheap brand?

I'm sure they will say on the course what to charge, but what do you recommend to charge?

Ta Muchly

Hi, I use Krush Minerals. Its a fantastic range. They didn't have a big start up order either.

Krush is 100% pure minerals, so it doesn't have any fillers ect in it. They have a huge choice of colours in the colour crystals (eye shadows.) And they are 100% pigment, so very bright!

I love the fact that as well as the loose powder foundation they also have liquid foundation, as I've found that some people much prefer liquid to powder.

Hope this helps.

You could always just give Bare Escentuals a call and explain that you want to use there make-up? They may have all sorts of start up accounts for all types of price ranges?

xx

You opening order will be around £2,500 if i can remember.

It's totally worth it though, we sold loads of it in the salon, you also get free training with them and their customer service is excellent.

They also give you a discount depending on how much you order each month
