I am planning to set up as self employed, one woman band renting rooms in salons etc.
I am also planning to rent some equipment.
Do people generally hire an accountant? I don't want to mis out on any tax bennefits by not having one but at the same time they can be expensive right??

The best thing you can invest in is a good accountant! Don't see it as an extra cost! It's essential! Imo paying someone who is amazing at there job, saves you not only money, but valuable time as well!

Ask family and friends, my accountant is a friend who used to work for one of the top accountants in my area.

In the long run they are worth it, xoxo

My view is that a good accountant will save you more than they cost. Most offer a free initial meeting so why not book a free meeting and go armed with quetions. Including 'how will you help me save money'

My accountant is very good, shes approchable and a decent price. Let me know if you want her details.

Sean
