Advanced electrolysis

Can anyone tell me what qualifications you should be looking for when looking for an electrologist that specialises in thread vein removal. :hug:

When I was studying for my HND I was told I could have taken an option for Advanced Electrolysis and I would have been qualified for this I am already fully trained and certified in Electrolysis

Sterex also advertise a course for Advanced whih is a 2 day course I believe

Check that they have done the advanced course, Sterex have a list in their website, and they remove eveyone who hasnt done a refresher every three years, which is required. Also have a look at the BIAE website for members who have done the advanced proceedures .( British Institute and Association of Electrolysis - The only British organisation for Professional Electrolygists)

Therapists should have at least 2 years experience in normal electrolysis before being able to train in Advanced Electrolysis.They should have an Advanced Electrolysis certificate as evidence of training with which ever company they trained with,eg Rita Roberts.
