Hi guys

I was doing a removal the other day the nails had been soaking for 20 mins I took them out to have a look and nothing had been removed the nails were still has shiney has they were when they went in the acetone, but after filing this area alittle and more soaking they came off, what I would like to know is what do you think was used, the client told me that the nail tech put a product on after appling the acrylic. this is fantastic stuff and would love to know what it is can anyone help. this is not work done by nns either

It is probably a layer of gloss gel to give it a permanent shine (and it's quicker than buffing). This is non porous hence why they wouldn't have soaked off until you buffed that layer off.

sounds like it was a uv gel topcoat. try le chat protech or young nails finish if you are looking for something similar. you must have a uv lamp to cure it though.
