Anyone ever had a business launch party?

Hellooo everyone

Definitely running before I walk, but my creative mind won't sleep! Has anyone ever had a launch party? What did you do? What was the venue like? Did you do a big scary speech? The 'over organised' part of me wants to know everything Please share your stories if you have!!!

My new salon is due to open on the 6th November. I am so excited.

I did not have a launch party with my last one but am seriously toying with the idea this time though have no idea how it would work.

Would love to read peoples responses to this post to give me some inspiration x

The questions to ask yourself before holding such a thing are:

What are you hoping to achieve by doing this?
Do you have an established relationship with your invitees?
What will you do when they don't show up?
