Arthritic Fingers - which system is best!!!!

Hiya all

Just needed to pick the brains of some of the experienced members, we had a client into the salon 3 weeks ago for a full set of nails she advised us she had arthricis. The nails were put on and off she went. She came back last week for infills and my colleague in the salon could barely touch her nail with the file and she was flinching.

We were just wondering if l&p (which is what was applied) is the best system, or has anyone come across a client like this and if so what did you do.

I'm guessing it's the filing motion causing her the discomfort.
If you are going to do L&P I would really stress sculpt with the bursh, not the file... Alternatively try gel as it can be buffed down nice and easily...
