Jersey based spa Ayush Wellness, recognised as one of the countrys top ayurvedic inspired destinations, has welcomed a series of facials from spa brand Sundari to its menu.
The product and treatment brand, which was originally pioneered by supermodel Christy Turlington, is renowned for its deluxe yet natural formulations for the face and body.
Guest can choose from a trio of facials from Sundari, whose knowledge stems from the ancient Indian wellbeing system ayurveda. After a consultation with Dr Prasanna Kerur, ayurvedic physician at Ayush, clients can try one of three face treatments.
These are prescribed according to their dosha or ayurvedic constitution based on physicality, skin and health conditions. Pitta Facials are suitable for fair skin prone to spots and acne; Vata, for people who generally suffer from dry skin; and Kapha treats oily skin types.
