Bad experiences

Hi had bad experiences in past that has resulted me in being very protective over hair had hair cut and highlights by a mobile Hairdrsser took her over 5 hours to do a full head of highlights and a cut and did not get cape put on me till she started cutting my hair just had towel around my shoulder was just wondering if anyone got any advice on finding a new Hairdrsser
