Bleached hair to dark blonde

Hi,

I have white blonde bleached hair, I'm looking to go to a dark blonde but did a strand test and come up a horrible dark grey colour.

What do hairdressers advise? I think I may need to pre - pig, but don't want to to go coppery or redy. I get worried with all this pre - pigging

If your hairdresser why buy a shop colour???

It's a tesco colour. On my hair I use any colours but clients I used sally goldwell

Im base 11 Would like to be a base 7 or 8 in goldwell
