Hi All!

(*I have some basic knowledge on hair back from my apprentice days)

I have recently gone from blonde (warm honey/gold blonde) back to brown.

My hairdresser pre-pigged my hair, then used Koleston 6 (1/2 a tube) & 6/7 (1/4 tube) on my hair to get a caramel colour.

My colour then faded quickly and my hairdresser advised to get similar colours from the wholesalers which I have done. I used Majirel 6 (full tube) and 6.32 (1/4 tube) with 20vol. Left on for only 20 mins as I didn't want to end up too dark.

When hair is up, my roots are a really nice warm dark brown, but the ends are a sludgy green with no warmth at all. Same brown colour all over, just 2 completely different tones...

What can I do to try and get some warmth in the ends? Can I use a toner?

Thanks in advance for your help!

She should really have used a demi or semi on your hair, not a permanent colour after it had been bleached.
Also, removing permanent colour too early simply means it hasn't had time to process properly so it will always fade quickly.
Ask your hairdresser for a warm semi to cover the green next time.

Use a warm red brown semi on your ends don't put it on your roots to counteract the khaki colour on the ends
