Hey everyone!

I'm thinking of starting a little side business where I travel to client's homes and blow-dry their hair. (I'm not a hairdresser), what does everyone think? Is this a good idea? I'm trying to think of something I can do that will earn me a little extra cash.

Can anyone recommend any good courses that I can go on? (I live in London) :

Thanks everyone :) xx

I think the minimum you'd need is public liability insurance but you probably need to have a recognised qualification before you'd be insurable.

Rather than just blow drying, what about learning how to completely set and style hair? So learning up-do's, plaiting techniques etc. Are blow dry bars still popular in London?

I could definitely give it a go, though I am not too good at doing nit-picky things like braids at the best of times haha thank you for the advice
