I'm transvestite and I have a long weekend coming up and I'm thinking about getting some Brisa Lite extensions fitted before I go shopping in some of the more specialised shops.

I'm wondering how practical it is to remove Brisa Lite sculpting gel at home (Is there an official CND removal kit?) or is cotton wool soaked in acetone tin foil wraps with some orange sticks for helping it off a sensible possibility.

Finally does anyone have some suggestions (central/south London) for where to go to get these done where I won't make anyone feel uncomfortable.

Hi, You can remove at home and there is a CND Remove Tube that you can buy and should be able to get this from your nail professional who will do them for you, along with professional advice on how to remove safely.

Try looking on the lovecnd website for salons in your area and give them a call. I believe there is a CND Education Ambassador who has a salon in central London, so should be on the locator on the website I've given you.

Ooh just had a thought, you may well have to use foil rather than the remover wraps in the Remove Tube, sorry!! But, yes, get the advice from the salon who can talk you through it.

Removing the BL enhancements is alot different to removing shellac (or any gel polish) as you need to file and buff the bulk of the enhancement down before applying the remover so I would suggest you get the nail tech to properly demonstrate on perhaps 1 nail (then obviously have it reapplied!) so you don't end up over filing and damaging your nails. Would you not be able to go back to the original salon to get them removed anyway?

Possibly not in time, I'm pretty sure I've got plenty of time but it's always possible some sort of emergency might require me back and long nails could raise some questions.

Aw bless you. Well just ask the tech to demo fully how to remove. Hope you enjoy having the nails :) x
