Can products smell different bottle to bottle?

I bought a unite 7 seconds detangler at a different salon then I normally do but I noticed it smelled different. Can that be normal? It was a reputable salon. It was listed on Unites site as a seller.

Formulas regularly change so it could still be a genuine product. Maybe take it back to the salon and asked them to check it?
