Hi geeks,

Just wandered when useing clear tips do you have to blend?

Yes you do hun. I take out most of the well, then pre-blend before appying, so its easier to blend flush with the natural nail plate.

absolutely definatly, they would be thick, bulky horrible looking nails if not, with a nice big line all the way along, tips are just there a a guide they dont give any strength so dont worry about going to thin! Think about sculpting, you completely remove the foundation when complete and it is stronger than a tip, thinner = stronger. HTH

Cheers guys! xxx

do you buff the free edge of the tip or would the scratches show after you apply the L+P

Good Question

you blend as normal and the scratches don't show :D

Is it correct (re gmg "faster finer nails tutorial")that clear tips blend faster?

how do you blend clear tips that have been airbrushed already?

they're definitely more forgiving.

what does that mean

In the tutorial GMG said...
Clear Tips aid the nail designer in reducing their tip application time by being more forgiving.
Its much easier and faster to blend a set of clear tips to the nail as you don’t have to have it so exact.
Be sure that you are still making the tip as thin and even to maximise the amount of product you are applying.
I think that speaks for itself.
you don't have to have it so exact as the tips are transparent (see through).
