Just wondering what everybody does for finishing on L&P enhancements? Buff to a high shine with the girlfriend, top coat with super shiney (or similar) or gel top coat? Only recently I've realised techs are doing gel top coat on top of enhancements, what are the advantages of this? And which one do you use? I've never used it or offered it, my clients prefer the shiney top coat over buffing to high shine whereas my personal preference is using the girlfriend buffer for finishing on my own nails. Thanks

My personal preference is buff to a shine but everyone is different :)

Whatever is best for the client.
Some of my clients don't want the too shiny look the gel topcoat gives them as it makes their regrowth look too obvious after a couple of weeks.

Buffing to a high shine gives a nice shiny look and an opportunity to retail a buffer for them to maintain the shine at home.
