Curly extensions

Help, I have very natural curly hair but does not grow much and I got bored so had extensions. However I used to spend hours curling hair as they were straight as my hairdresser had problems getting curly. However, they stayed curly until the next wash.. The next lot did not grrrrr Finally he sourced some very curly so I swopped over. Within a month they became so difficult - matted and shredding. does anyone know if this is normal? Was it because they were curly. I am gutted as they were perfect for my hair but have had to have them removed now.

I find that with curly extensions. They become very matted and cotty very quickly

Girls the thing with curly extensions and wavy ones is that the hair goes through so much more processing and steaming than normal which in turn strips the cuticle layer. Your better off getting straight and curling yourself x
