I am hoping to become self employed this year but I am stuck as to where I will be based. I can't exactly be mobile as I don't have a car and the idea of renting a room in a salon doesn't fill me with excitement (too many horror stories). I also have a 4 1/2 month old so I won't be setting up at home (complicated I know). I know a therapist (well she isn't qualified - she did day courses) who rented small office space in St Pauls Square and saw clients there, it wasn't a set up I'd have considered at the time but if it has worked for her maybe I should consider it? What are your thoughts? I had also contacted the Bullring market to rent space there but his quote was extortionate.
Does anyone in the Bham area have any pointers?
