How would this work though as tint doesn't lift tint??
It works because basicically there is no tint in a 10.0 its just a tube of ammonia without any shade as such. Thats why they say never go above a level 8 in covering white hair because the levels above have hardly any pigment. The best way i have found though is blonde boosters then you know there is no tint what so ever. You can get them in Osmo Ikon color, Renbow colorissimo and fudge i think there's probably laods of other brands that do them aswell. They are listed as ooo and can be added to hi-lift to give extra lift or are very effective on there own for pre-lifting.
