I was just wondering how many of you have an entertainments licence in order to play either the radio or a cd in your shop?

Did you know that if you play music and it is available for the general public who enter your shop/salon to hear then you must by law have an entertainments licence.:irked:

I believe it is £51 for the year (well it it with our local council). If they catch you without one they just tell you to buy one or turn your music off.

Personally I will wait till I get caught and then buy one!!!

What says you? :D

We discussed this last week at some length, do a search on 'radio' and you should find the thread

We have an entertainments license in our salon....small price to pay should an inspector do a spot check....... not worth the hassle not to have one....
