Ok so my sister today had pre bonded extensions fitted to her fringe to blend it with the rest of her hair...and my god what a mess!! The bonds are all different levels and clearly visible and her root area is matted together. Not only that th texture is fine and silky where her hair is thick and coarse. They were done by a mobile extensionist for 60 quid, theres about 15 been applied and theyre spaced very randomly. They look awful and she is very upset. We have both tried contacting her with no luck. Is there anything I can use to remove them for her? Or can anyone recommend an extensionist in the wolverhampton/birmingham area I can contact?

Yup defs acetone... The bonds will be really hard I presume if they were only done today? So some acetone onto a cotton pad (soak the pad) then wrap around the bond and hold, applying pressure.
If the bonds are really hard, try find something plier like to clamp down on the bond to break it, apply more acetone if you need to. Hopefully at this stage, the bond should be broken and softened down enough to just comb out! :)

Yep theyre rock hard! I have pliers and acetone so will set about rectifying the mess in the morning for her!! Thankyou so much xx

I would not recommend removing them yourself as this is where a lot of damage can be done. You should try finding a trained professional in your area. Acetone should not be applied to the hair, this can dry it out. There are special removing liquids we use. You can do it yourself like the others have adviced but I would never recommend DIY things like that to anyone.

Decided to go with my better judgement and found a salon specialising in extensions, they were wonderful, saw her this morning and it took only 20 mins for them to remove the bonds. Stylist said they were some of the worst she had seen!! We are now in the process of contacting trading standards about this so called pro. Thankyou everyone. Xx
