Good crimpers?

Hi guys popping over from beauty for ur advice please

My trusty crimpers that I've had for about 15 years have finally had it. I need to crimp my hair for a fancy dress do and was wondering if anyone could recommend some good reasonably priced ones?

The ones I've seen have got thin plates bit id really like some with wide plates as my hair is long and thick..

Babyliss do some good wide plate crimpers. I love love love crimpers. I crimp my hair at the roots (not right to the top layer so it's visible) and it helps give a great root boost!

Thanks for ur reply, I have the root boost ones which are great but they're a bit too thin for the look I'm after will be there for ages doing more than the roots. Will get some normal babyliss ones then, yay! Thanks x
