It seems more and more salons are offering more and more. Hair beauty nails, tanning, ipl, teeth whitening etc.

Do you think it's the way forward? Having it all in one place?

I'm looking at salons to buy and wondering if its next to go with one thing or everything? X

I questioned my family before looking for a chair to rent, they all said the more that was offered in one place the better, I'm now with another stylist who does extensions and I do hair up so its a good team for our specialitys, and a beauty therapist who does almost everything xoxo

I am more of the thinking that the more one salon does is not neccesarily best. I prefer to go to someone who specialises in something as I've always found them to be the best at what they do rather than being average at everything. If I was having a tan or something I'd go to a run of the mill salon but something such as lashes or semi permanent make up I would go to someone who mainly does only that as I know their skills will be higher, therefore the work they do is better.
Good luck with whatever you choose to do :)

I get what you mean, I meant more of the likes of a salon where there is individuals who specialise so a client can choose.
I'm not keen on the Toni and guy style of a colourist, shampoo person, stylist and blowdryer all being different people, it's not as personal for me. I'm guessing its more of an area thing.

See if you can specialise in a service unique for your area but offer all other services as extras. Xoxo

I love the idea of an all in one centre.

Like Tomme says, having people that special in things all under one roof. Rather than having to go to a separate place for different things.

Like a supermarket for our industry. That is my vision for the future of my business. I want to employ the best of each speciality with the familiarity of the same receptionist, manager and faces.
