Do you have a registered address for her?
If a mobile fitter doesn't give you a written receipt, I'd suspect they weren't insured or registered to pay taxes.

Next time, do your research before parting with a penny. There are lots of cowboy fitters out there that give the genuine professionals a bad name.

I have no details for her, big experience it was. I wouldn't have been this annoyed if she hadn't told me that she'll leave the hair here so I could make clip ins with them. And she's only left a weft and a half.

I hope admin doesn't delete this post and her future clients reserachibg will find this thread.

Where is she based

Hmm... After this bad experience I went to a local salon with good reviews and had a chat with one of the girls about extensions. After a few rounds of discussion I decided to go ahead and get extensions fitted by them. The brand is Prestige apparently and I know it's single drawn. They ordered ombre hair and fitted it with micro wefts, only used one weft and a bit and some micro beads. The colour march wasn't perfect and my original hair had to be darkened a bit (after I mentioned it looked a bit stripey).
What I don't understand is that extensions are meant to be seamless and ended well and these again seem to be just 'stand out' from my hair. They also mentioned that after about 5 washes the hair will thicken up.... which I'm dreading now and I hope it won't look like the first hair a few weeks.
Please can anyone advise wheather this looks ok and if extensions really change texture after the coating washes off?

This isn't right, I'm not a specialist in hair extensions but Ive had mine done professionally now for 2 1/2 years and never have they looked like that. It doesn't look like they've blended them properly. I have a micro ring weft in and they cut it into four sections of the hair so I have rows so it blends into my natural hair evenly. When you first get them they should feel lightweight and soft, after washing them they should just start to feel more like your own hair and should sit with your own hair. I would definitely go back and speak to them. x

This got fitted only yesterday, haven't even washed them yet.
I can't be this unlucky...

Bless you, not again!! In my honest opinion they haven't used enough hair for your hair type. How many rows do you have in your hair? Without looking at it properly I would say they haven't put your weave high enough and not blended your natural hair. You will probably find once you've washed it it may start to blend a bit better and once you've straightened it it will sit it better but if I'm honest I would go back and tell them your not happy. I can't believe this has happened to you again! Xx

This is an example of 100grams (she really could have done with a bit more) but as an example this is how it should sit with the natural hair blended to the extension hair x

I have six wefts in and some extra on the sides. I don't think you could fit more in, there's literally just a finger's space in between. I'm not even telling my husband that this one's not great either....

Shame u dnt live close to me I would of done it for u x

I can't believe there's noone in my area who I could trust. I'm also pretty sure they've been fitted badly, there's one ring that's sticking out as parr of the hair had been put in a ring into a row above... this is what they look like on the sides . (I know itchiness is normal for a week or so)
