I am looking at getting hair extensions for my birthday and have no idea where to begin.

I have thick hair about shoulder length and don't want to loose that in my hair, in other words I don't want to ruin my hair.

Any hints or tips as to what to try or where to go?

I should have mentioned I do have double weft clip ins which are so heavy and I can't be bothered with them I put them in when I go out which isn't very often.

Help fellow geeks x

The best advice is don't go with someone really cheap, pay cheap pay twice! Have a consultation with a few extensionists and you should get a good vibe off one. Go for one who has lots of good before and after pictures and good reviews x
