Husband has rash on stomach, can anyone tell what it is by picture?

Hi geeks, my husband has a rash on his stomach and we're not sure what it is. He's had it in the past as well

. He says he hurts a little to touch but not much. Can anyone tell by this picture what it could be? I was wondering if it could be shingles?

Doesn't look like the pictures on Google of shingles. I'd suggest a visit to the doctor or even the pharmacist may be able to help

I'm not a doctor but it does look like early stages of impetigo. You'll soon know if it starts to spread.

I recall being told shingles starts nr the centre and heads to the sides and is very sore. As it looks.

I'd say it was Shingles It is very common on the trunk of the body
Very painful & contagious.

Looks like when I had shingles. Hope he gets seen and is ok.

Thanks everyone, he's seen a pharmacist and it's not shingles, just bad ingrown hairs! The pharmacist said shingles is very painful but my husband isn't in pain x
