Insurance and Health & Safety

Hi, my salon is opening this week, I've basically converted my garage in to a treatment room and there will only be me working in it.

I already have the Salon Gold Freelancers Policy. Do I need to get any other insurance or display a health & safety policy or anything like that ?

you can get in touch with your local council, ours came our for free and checked our qualifications and insurance documents, checked we had no smoking signs and fire exit signs, and cleaning/sterilising products. We then received a policy from them to show which said we were council registered.

you could always have a health and safety poster up on a wall.
