Is it OK to lighten client's hair a month after coloring?

My clients hair is a level 3 she colored it like 3 weeks ago and wants something different I was thinking if doing like a caramel brown bayalge you think I'd be ok to work on that? Think it would lift to a level 6 or 7

Test a strand of her hair to see how light u can get it x

Definitely strand test if she's used a box dye. You can't be sure how much colour build up she has or if the products used contain metallic salts.

If she's been re-applying box dyes, you'll be better off using a colour reducer to remove it rather than bleach, providing you use it as per instructions.
