i have always been fine with l&p, no probs at all, but tonight i got bored of useing the trainer hand and done some on myself, but omg the pain i got just after applying the l&p, it was a burning sensation going from nail to knuckle, after a couple of minutes (before i had chance to get the accetone and remover the extension) the pain stoped and they feel fine but i was wondering if anyone else has had this and is it the start of an alergy?

Do you have thin nail plates? Could be the heat of the polymerisation having an effect? I have had this with a client only once and it was only on one finger.

yes i have very very thin nail plates, this reaction was on every finger thanks for the suggestion it does sound like it is something it could be

Sorry never heard of this one. I am sensitive to certain brands, but never pain like that...usually just itching and peeling skin and dryness.

Maybe see a GP?
