Hi Geeks
The last few times that I've done my nails (acrylics) I've had a slight itching and redness around the cuticle area. I was starting to worry that this may be the start of an allergy due to overexposure. However, I don't get any form of rash/irritation when doing clients nails.
For some reason when I was moisturising my face this morning I decided to rub some intensive moisturiser into my fingers to see if this would help. It stopped any irritation within minutes and the redness started to fade. They have become a little itchy again now (around 6 hours later) but I have washed my hands a few times so will have stripped them from moisture again.
Could this be due to dryness? I do get dry skin around my nails normally. Any ideas would be great.
