Longevity of lash extensions

hi all,

I’ve recently qualified and have practised on 6 people. The lashes turn out lovely but don’t seem to stay on any longer than a week. When applying I make sure that the bottom of the lash is on but this still doesn’t help. Can anyone give me any advice?

Retention problems could have a multitude of reasons.

Are you using a primer and are you cleaning the lashes before application?
What adhesive are you using, ie is it suited to your environment and working speed?
Have you checked aftercare with your clients? Sometimes they are just not aware of what to look out for when using their own products or they are maybe not cleaning them at home?
